Hannah Lee

Hannah is a second generation Malburian who has been working in the Marlborough wine industry since she was 12 years old helping her parents establish their small vineyard.

Growing up here wasn't enough though, Hannah needed to explore the world of wine herself and after completing a bachelors degree in chemistry at the university of Otago she flew to France and did her first vintage in the hallowed vineyards of Burgundy.

She then followed vintage for the next six years moving between hemispheres gaining experience in the USA, Australia, Germany, the UK and New Zealand

Throughout her career Hannah has focused on premium wine production and sales, highlights including working at Berry Bros. & Rudd in London and Hans Herzog, Dog Point and Greywacke in Marlborough just to name a few.

All this experience has culminated in a desire to share the knowledge she had gained exploring the world of wine. She can’t wait to show you around this beautiful region!

  • If you are happy for us to take control and plan an amazing evening exploring the best of Marlborough wine industry we will take you behind the scenes at The Wrekin and Huia Vineyards, small producers not usually open to the public. However if there are particular wines you really want to try or special vineyards that you want to visit just let us know, chances are we know someone who works there and with some classic kiwi generosity it will be no trouble to visit exactly where you want to go.

  • A minimum of ten wines will be offered, mostly showcasing the vineyards and wineries we visit earlier in the tour but can include specific wineries you wish to explore while passing through Blenheim.

  • Absolutely! If there is availability we would love to help out with a private tasting. Simply get in touch for a quote.
